All the teachings of Jesus - as we meet them in the gospels - are filtered through the language and thought patterns of New Testament Greek. But he actually spoke and taught in a very different language – Aramaic. If we reconstruct his likely original words and reflect deeply on them, a figure emerges from the shadows who is inspiring, mystical… and significantly different from the Christ of much traditional teaching.
