Hear the woods and hedgerows around Othona come alive. Whether you're a regular birdwatcher or a novice, Dominic Couzens is a superb guide. His knowledge is encyclopaedic, his style very engaging. After eavesdropping on the woodland chorus he is likely to take us towards the beach to see who's on the wing early down there. He'll also introduce us to whatever moths have visited overnight (all of this 'weather permitting').
And then we share a slap-up Full English breakfast and a simple thanksgiving in chapel for all we've seen and heard, finishing by about 9.00 a.m.
A bed for the night first? To save yourself an early drive and even earlier alarm call, why not stay over at Othona on Sunday night? Beds are available at a modest extra charge.
