Film-lovers on Safari

At half term a houseful of all ages spent four days enjoying and talking about movies together. Aiden and Janine Kane and their daughters Ruby, Laura and Esme were our cinema guides.

But don't think watching the screen is all we did. One day saw us all trekking through Puddletown Forest, an atmospheric area of mixed woodland with Thomas Hardy's first home, the remains of a Roman Road and a bewildering network of paths.

We awarded prizes for the three best photos that day – here they are with one runner up too.
