Change is in the air
We have now completed a once-in-a-decade revamp for which we needed a length of time mainly closed to visitors. We think you will now notice:
- A differently organised core community to welcome you
- A renewed approach to our food, with more tasty local produce than ever
- Improved office systems to deal with your bookings and payments and help us keep in touch
- A sharper focus on keeping the house and all its equipment up to scratch
- Various refurbishments including new showers
- A fresh look at worship and all that goes on in the chapel
Othona's just a click away
In 2008 we plan to launch a new-look website with more information, regular news updates, a better range of pictures, and hopefully a little bit of inspiration. We're also building in greater interactivity so that you can contribute and respond to what you see. The address will be, as now, www.othona-bb.org.uk . While we work on the new look you can still see the usual range of information here at that same address.
Where are our new faces coming from?
Already on the website we have an expanded Recruitment section with new jobs on offer from early 2007. If anybody you know has an interest in living here, serving on our core community, please point them in the right direction.

OWW This event includes One World Worship, open to anybody staying at Othona or living locally. The first Sunday of every month at 7.00p.m., with a simple soup and bread supper afterwards. We celebrate the wonders of creation, the common ground of humanity, the wisdom of many spiritual traditions, and the longing for peace.
START AND FINISH TIMES Events generally begin with supper at 7.00p.m. It helps us if you arrive after 4.30p.m. They end mid-morning unless otherwise indicated.
